One of Brisbane's most iconic venues, cru bar + cellar is home to an extensive, award-winning wine list. To match, they required a versatile menu to suit any time of day - whether sunset snacks with a cocktail or a lengthy lunch that fades into dinner. Alongside their bar & cellar teams, I designed a menu not bound by structure to suit any mood.
At Sixes & Sevens
Known to many Brisbanites as the ideal venue for cocktails in the sun which extend into the night, Sixes & Sevens were running a menu which was simply way too long! I completely revitalised their menu from scratch, creating a concise selection of both snacking & substantial drinking foods with a twist.
The Overflow Estate 1895
A winery with an epic location in the Scenic Rim, the owners of The Overflow Estate 1895 were not entirely happy with their food offering, feeling that it was much too 'safe'. I worked closely with their team to create an interesting menu to pair perfectly with their wines, as well as utilising the best of the Scenic Rim's produce.
